Stardoll is a fun site, created mainly for girls aged 12-14. You can dress up celebrities in virtual paperdolls, buy clothing for you avatar, and furniture for your suite. However, to buy most clothing and furniture, you must pay to become a superstar. Being a superstar also means you can design your own clothes and furniture, join clubs, and sell your unwanted items. You also go from a 4-room suite to a 12-room suite. I do not think it is worth it to pay. You can still buy several items and play the games.
Your avatar has a ton of choices to make it personalized. You can give her funky hair, glasses, earrings, and much more. It is really fun to play around with all the choices. You can unlock more items throughout the game with starpoints. It’s nice because you have something to look forward to.
I think this site does not provide enough games. Non-Paperdoll lovers will find this site very un-entertaining. The games aren’t even that great. If you want tons of dress up games, then this is for you. Players get a wide variety of choices. Everybody from Paula Abdul to Miley Cyrus are available.. Some girls will get a kick out of this site. Others may think its lacking. i give stardoll 3 out of 5 stars. If your intrested, go take a look

As a dad, I think this site is good fun for girls. I wouldn’t want my kids to dress like most of the dolls on StarDoll, but I don’t want them dressing like Barbie either, which they also play with. Dad-approved.
